Job Description:

Build, Integration and verification on Mobile Station Modem (MSM) chipsets running the Linux-Android Operating System. This role requires the engineer to analyze and identify system level integration issues, define plan and integrate new features, performing smoke test on test platforms, develop and execute basic test scenarios for various modules. Candidate will interface with the development and test teams, assemble and verify software builds, troubleshoot and resolve problems.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate should have strong background in embedded software and 1 to 2 years of software development/integration experience.

Good understanding of C/C++ and Strong Shell Scripting/Python/Perl programming skills and hands-on experience on debugging embedded systems is required.

Should have exposure to large scale software build, integration and test environments.

Knowledge of any Revision Control Software is must and Git & Gerrit/Perforce experience.

Knowledge of build tools such as make and Linux System concepts

Experience on Continuous Build and Integration (Automated) like Electric Commander, Jenkins, Hudson

Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Strong problem solving and debugging skills

Ability to co-ordinate across stakeholders towards task completion.
