Network & Security Operations

We are looking for a Contractor – Network and Security operations to oversee and facilitate collaboration between internal teams, vendors, and partners in managing network operations, security operations, wireless services, and Audits. This role is primarily responsible for support/coordination for Service Req /Incident /Inventory audit docs and vendor coordination for small projects/new requirements, ensuring compliance with security standards while optimizing network operations.

Major Activities

 

 

Leadership and Management:

 

  • Leading a indirect team of network and security engineers to provide 24x7 support.
  • Manage vendor relationships, overseeing service agreements and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in network security, communication systems, and surveillance technologies.
  • Coordinate/Support with network and security teams/OEM/Partners/relevant stack holders to ensure smooth Operations, deployment and maintenance of LAN & wireless services, Data Center Network operations, Firewall operations and the Projects/Passenger wifi services.
  • Facilitate discussions with the internal ICT departments, Partners, Concessioners for the fulfilment of Network and security Infra.
  • Facilitate discussions between internal engineers and vendors to optimize network and Security operations.
  • Participate in the require ICT Meetings and CAB meetings.
  • Ensure business units are aligned with Network security standards and best practices.
  • Support/create the documentation for the Network & Security operations and Audits.
  • Track and renew the AMCs for Network & Security devices, Licenses and ISP Links on time in coordination with Finance/procurement team .
  • Review/track/follow up for all vendor invoices clearance from different approval stage and validate billing accuracy based on contractual agreements.

 

Network Support

  • Coordinate with network service providers, security vendors, ISPs and technology partners for Network operations, infrastructure upgrades, security implementations, and troubleshooting.
  • Support to Manage vendor contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and performance reviews to ensure compliance with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate meetings, progress updates, and issue resolution between stakeholders involved in network security, wireless services, and Cisco Fabric projects.
  • Track project/new requirements/ Sr timelines and ensure Partners and vendors meet deadlines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.
  • Coordination/initiation of the meetings with the Network & Security operations/stakeholders and share the reports /follow up /escalate for the review/any pending items closure.
  • Coordinate & support for all internal and external security audits, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies and regulations (ISO 27001, ISMS/BCS etc.).
  • Work with IT security and compliance teams to document and maintain security policies and audit reports.
  • Ensure that all network security measures, including wireless services and Cisco Fabric, meet compliance requirements.
  • Track audit findings ensure for closure in coordination with Partners, vendors and internal teams to implement necessary remediation actions.

Process Improvement

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for application support.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL and other relevant frameworks.
  • Adhere and improve on KPIs and SLAs relevant to application uptime, incident resolution, customer satisfaction, etc
  • Create and execute BCP plans.
  • Identify and implement best practices.
  • Conduct regular system audits, performance monitoring, and maintenance to prevent downtime and outages

Incident & Risk Management Coordination:

 

  • Act as a liaison between incident response teams and external security partners during security breaches or network failures.
  • Ensure timely escalation, resolution, and reporting of network security incidents.
  • Work with stakeholders to implement risk mitigation strategies and improve response plans.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare and present regular reports on network and communications metrics and performance.
  • Systematically track and close issues/actions and key deliverable.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, processes and procedures.

Financial

  • Provide relevant inputs from Network Support to help Head – Operations determine the Annual Budget and periodic forecasting

Non-Financial

  • Approximately 8-10 indirect reports including small and large vendor resources providing ICT services

 

  1. JOB SPECIFICATION

 

    1. Education qualification and certifications
  1. Prior experience in Aviation/Airport/Telecom industry.
  2. Working and hands on Experience with CISCO routing and switching with various Network and communications ISCO/Avaya/Fortinet/
  3. Knowledge of Software defined network (Cisco SDA Fabric)/Firewall/Switches/routers/4g/5G Unified communications.
  4. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics and telecommunications, or a related field.
  5. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Excellent MS office skills (PowerPoint/Word/Excel etc.)
  8. Experience with ITIL or other relevant frameworks is a plus.
  9. Advanced level cisco certifications.
    1. Years of Experience – 8+ years of experience in network and communications support in a multivendor environment, with 5+ experience in Cisco related technologies
